Morris Wedding | Don Hall's Guest House | Fort Wayne, Indiana
September 11, 2016
I am sure any of my photographer friends out there will know what I say when I ask this question. Have you ever met someone and just feel like they are going to be an awesome client? Tori and Brighton are those people. I am not sure how Tori found me, but when I met them for their engagement photos I knew I was in for an amazing wedding, and I was so right. Not only was their wedding beautiful it was also a blast! The groomsmen used to live in a house all together, and throw massive parties. This house had a theme song which was Boom Boom Boom by the Venga Boys, which I am actually listening to as I write this post. When the DJ played that song, the bridal party, along with half of the wedding guests ran to the dance floor. It was awesome. I even requested the song again because the dancing photos were so great. I have never seen a wedding with that many people on the dance floor. The whole bridal party spent most of the night getting down. The bride and groom also at 10 had burgers and fries for the guest who were starting to get hungry. I so loved this.
Besides mentioning the fact that the whole wedding was a blast, I should probably talk a little more about the details, Tori and Brighton. Tori and Brighton got married on a beautiful September day, minus the morning, it was raining then. They did a first look in the gazebo at the hotel and it was so touching. Brighton and Tori just lights up around each other. I loved that he just looked so amazed when he saw her in her dress. They both even started to cry which was so sweet. It is moments like this that make me love my job even more. Thankfully a bridesmaid was waiting with tissues. We then met the rest of the guys and girls to start photos. We took a portion of the photos indoors and the other half outside. The bridal party was amazing. They were laughing the whole time, with huge smiles. They were so excited for Tori and Brighton, and it was amazing to watch a bride and groom with so much support from their bridal party. The rest of the day was filled with excitement, amazing food, hilarious dancing, a few tears (look at how emotional her dad got during the father daughter dance, I was tearing up behind my camera), and a whole lot of love. I could not have been any more grateful to have been the Morris's wedding photographer. So congratulations to these two! Enjoy their wedding photos!
Ps. If you do not know the song Boom Boom Boom by Venga Boys, you are so missing out. Go listen to it right now!
