Translating life through photographs that speak more than words ever could.

Indiana and Beyond

I have already expressed my love of family photos many times. Capturing your family how they are each year is something I very much think is important. Remebering the fall when your child was missing their two front teeth, or remembering the season where your oldest was still the tallest child. However some families take it up a notch and do extended family photos, which are truly my favorite. While you get to freeze time briefly for one family, extended photos means you get to freeze time for a whole family. Rather it's the fall before your daughter got married and your family grew, or the year before you gained another grand baby, extended family photos are so amazing for freezing that time. Every day in your family’s life is so precious and such a gift and I am so thankful for the families who are choosing to allow me to be a part of it for a day and freeze a few moments forever. This is why I love family photos so much. These are memories and moments you can't recreate.

One of the Prangers reached out to me a couple months back inquiring about family photos, and I was so excited. I had initially had contact with Mariah when she was pregnant and of course time slipped away and I didn't have a chance to work with her then. But now I was getting that chance and I was so excited. Not only was I going to be working with Mariah and her beautiful daughter, but also her entire family. Seriously one of the cutest and sweetest families I had ever met. So full of personality, I mean just take one look at the pictures and you will see every one of those little personalities shining through, especially when the little ones make goofy faces. This family was so great to work with! They brought so much life, joy and laughter to the front of my camera! I seriously hope to see this family or part of it in front of my camera again!
