Each of my wedding couples have a questionnaire they fill out for me. Everything from their wedding colors, to their vendors, to their story is included in this questionnaire and let me tell you hearing people tell their stories is my favorite part of my questionnaire. Some tell stories of their relationships that make me laugh so hard I cry, and some could inspire the next great Nickolas Sparks novel. No matter rather their story is funny, or sweet, or has adversity that brought them together, I love hearing their story and then telling such a small part of it through my photographs. However Brandon and Myriah have a story I couldn't resist sharing not because it is funny, I mean it does have a little humor, and not because it basically rivals the notebook but because it is the sweetest story and so perfectly them that is just so them I couldn't resist.
Myriah and Brandon first saw each other in Steak-N-Shake, but never said a word. Myriah said she was at Steak-N-Shake and noticed a guy with amazing eyes looking at her. Nothing more ever came of that guy, until band camp freshman year at BSU. Myriah and her roommate decided to skip bowling with everyone and watch Ghost Busters with the two funny guys that sat behind them on the bus. Half was through the movie Brandon was asking Myriah if she had been at Steak-N-Shake and wearing a blue shirt. She was clearly pretty unforgettable. A few days later at band camp a group of people were hanging out when Brandon approached Myriah and asked if she was the girl he saw in Steak-n-Shake. She said yes, and they went on a date later that week. The rest is pretty obvious, since here I am writing the blog post about their wedding which happened to share the same date as the day Brandon asked Myriah to be his girlfriend several years back. Who would of ever thought the pretty girl Brandon saw in Steak-n-Shake would be his wife, and the guy with amazing eyes would be Myriah's husband. This is some serious fate right here. It was very clear these two belong together throughout their entire wedding. I only saw Brandon before the wedding and he was so excited he could barely stand it. But these two spent the entire day with smiles from ear to ear, laughing with each other, and celebrating the fact that they are finally done with long distance.
Brandon and Myriah got married at the Elks County Club in Muncie, and can I say it was absolutely stunning. This venue hosts some seriously gorgeous grounds between the trees, bridges, and just overall incredible care that is taken when taking care of this venue. We only spent time near the 1st and 18th hole, but that as enough for me to decide this venue was a total photographers dream. Brandon and Myriah tied the knot under two huge and gorgeous trees with a view of nearly the entire course as their back drop. This venue could not have been prettier. To compliment the venue and it's incredible space, Brandon and Myriah chose a beautiful color palette and an enchanted forest theme. Combining this with a super hilarious bridal party who literally laughed at all my dumb jokes, a sweet family, Myriah's incredible hair piece, and beautiful details and we had a perfect wedding on our hands. This was an unforgettably beautiful wedding.
