Indiana and Beyond

Jones/West Extended Family | Eagle Creek | Indianapolis, Indiana

November 11, 2018

I have expressed my love of extended family photos about a million times, but I have never had the pleasure of shooting an entire family on both sides, until now. Angela and Dylan are one of my 2018 couples, and will be getting married next May. Late August she emailed me wanting to schedule family photos which I was totally excited for because their boys are so dang cute! Seriously wait until you see their individuals, these boys are cuties. Angela then asked if we could do family photos that included both her and Dylan's entire family, and I said sure wondering how many people I was going to get. Thankfully their family wasn't massive but I loved shooting the entire family, and these are such precious memories and photos for everyone to have. Plus this family will be pros at family photos next May, so it is was also super beneficial to me, and them because we are going to be able to move through family photos on their wedding day effortlessly.

We were originally schedule for late October, however due to a family event, we had to reschedule into November, and I was worried. One I knew it was going to be cold, and it was. But this family was seriously such champs about making it look like they were not totally freezing even though everyone was. My second worry was that fall was going to be gone and we were going to have a hard time finding a pretty place for photos, which I was totally wrong about. Angela picked their gorgeous park in Indianapolis called Eagle Creek, and luckily we found this gorgeous spot deep in the park to shoot at. The entire park was gorgeous but this spot was dreamy. I truly wish I shot more clients out of Indy so I could shoot here again sooner rather then later! Either way this session turned out perfect and this family was so dang sweet, which made me even more excited for Angela and Dylan's wedding next May!
