Evan and I have known each other for nearly 2 years, but became closer in the last couple months and I could not be more thankful that we did. He has quickly become someone I absolutely adore and love to be around. I realized that Evan shares a love and drive for photography very similar to mine, making him instantly jump up in friendship status, especially when he asked if we could shoot for a day. Mainly because this was a chance to shoot where I could try something. No pressure to get the perfect shot, besides from my inner perfectionist. Plus shooting with your friends for the heck of it, is always such a blast. So Evan and I spent the better part of an afternoon exploring downtown and shooting. He took new headshots for me and some creative photos I had in mind, and I took some portraits for him. We had such a good time, we decided to do it once a month. We are in the process of brainstorming some ideas for April and let me tell you, they are going to be amazing. These shoots are something I am so looking forward to, plus time with one of closest friends is a nice bonus. Seriously thankful for this friendship, and the fact that he is making me pull out of creative side at least once a month.
I will say I am really thankful we did these photos when we did, because as of this week, Evan was in a car accident and his car was totaled. These images will now be a reminder of his car that he loved, and I am thankful I was able to capture it.
