Kirsten | Downtown Fort Wayne | Fort Wayne, Indiana

May 11, 2019

I haven't been shooting a ton of seniors recently, just due to the fact that engagement sessions and wedding season approaching has really been taking all my time. However this means that when I have the chance to shoot a senior it is always such a privilege and I look forward to it so much, especially with this one. Kirsten was the sister of a groom whose wedding I shot last year, and we have rescheduled this session five times. So I was really looking forward to it. When I met Kirsten originally it was at her house as I was having a meeting with her brother and fiancé regarding the wedding. We originally scheduled for an October date one week after the wedding, and were definitely excited. I love fall senior sessions, especially when Kirsten and her mom discussed her outfits with me. On that date we had thunderstorms, so we rescheduled for two weeks later, and again rain. We decided to push onto winter hoping for snow, and of course the day we chose, happened to be the week where the temperature hit -60, so another reschedule right into spring. Our first spring date came and of course once again thunderstorms, so we scheduled for the 5th time praying we would have good weather and we were so lucky! Perfect weather. We joked about how the weather was against us, but apparently it decided to be nice for one day.

Besides the great weather we had, which thank you to God for that, we just had a great session in general. Kirsten is absolutely stunning, and such a sweet heart. Headed to Purdue Fort Wayne in the fall, and hoping to study something with Dental, she definitely has a bright future ahead of her. We spent her session yalking about prom coming up this weekend, college in the fall, her boyfriend, and the fact that this girl dresses so freaking cute. All around could not have asked for a better senior session.
