Straessle Wedding | St Charles and Goeglin's | Fort Wayne, Indiana
May 14, 2019
This year I had a little bit of a late start to my wedding season. In years past wedding season has kicked off in February or March, but this year it was May. I am not complaining one bit as I have been traveling a ton for engagement sessions most of the winter, but was definitely anxiously awaiting the start of my wedding season. So when it finally came last Saturday I was over the moon with excitement, especially since I was starting off my season with such a sweet couple, and kicking off four weekends in a row of weddings! However I had no idea just how much of an amazing bang I was starting my wedding season off with.
Upon arriving to St Charles I immediately got to work with details then went on to meeting all the bridesmaids. Emily's bridesmaids happen to all be her sisters, or sister of the groom, including one of the flower girls as well. I thought it was so neat that Emily was going to spend her day surrounded by her sisters and so showered with love as I watched them each get excited, and some tear up as she put her dress, jewelry, and veil one. Each so excited to watch their sister get married to the love of her life. Jacob's guys were the same as 8 were brothers to either him or Emily. I loved the fact that their bridal party was nearly filled with their family who all showered them with love and so much celebration throughout their day. Seriously they were all so excited through the ceremony, and photos about Emily and Jacob becoming Husband and Wife and it was so sweet to watch and be a part of. Of course you would have been as excited about this wedding as the bridal party was if you have ever had the pleasure of meeting the bride and groom.
Emily and Jacob are seriously so insanely sweet. Jacob spent most of the day thanking my second shooter and I for everything we were doing, and all the photos we were capturing. Emily giving us big hugs as we left, and having the best photo ideas. Seriously I knew I totally adored this bride when Emily said she brought a bottle of champagne to spray for pictures. Which I have to say are possibly my favorite bridal party pictures I have taken to date just because everyones reactions are so hilarious, including Emily and Jacobs. But seriously these two are so sweet, and so cute together that they were so easy to capture, and can we just all agree that Emily was seriously one of the most stunning brides I have ever seen?! All around this was such a great wedding to kick off the season with and made me so excited for the season to come.
