Fogarty Wedding | St Vincent and Firehouse Reception Hall | Fort Wayne, Indiana
June 4, 2019
Four weekends in a row of weddings, ending with the sweetest couple, and a wedding straight out of a Knot Magazine. But seriously, this past Saturday I had the absolute pleasure of capturing the Fogarty wedding and it was absolutely breathtaking, and I could not be more thankful to have been a part of this big day!
Olivia and Nick came to me by referral from both Casey and Kelsey, 2018 brides of mine, and I was beyond excited when this girl booked. Both Casey and Kelsey had two of the prettiest weddings, and were such a pleasure to work with that I was over the moon to be photographing another one of their friends! The second I met Olivia I knew I had to have her as one of my 2019 brides. Not only is she totally gorgeous, and oh my goodness, was seriously one of the prettiest brides I have seen, but she is seriously the sweetest and kindest soul ever. She was seriously an ideal bride to have. I was over the moon whence booked, and even more over the moon when I met Nick and photographed their engagement session. You may remember me raving over this couple because seriously the cutest, but also the sweetest, and such a joy to be around. So of course I have been anxiously awaiting their wedding, and kind of sad it is over!
Olivia and Nick got married at the gorgeous St Vincent, Saturday afternoon, surrounded by the closest of family and friends. They followed it with a gorgeous reception at Firehouse Reception Hall, and we shot their portraits at one of my favorite locations to take wedding photos. Every detail of their day was absolutely gorgeous from the florals, to the decorations at the ceremony, and reception, to the gorgeous color palette, and a seriously gorgeous bridal gown. Honestly a bit bias towards their color palette because I have always said I wanted a blush or maeve and navy color palette, but seriously it was stunning. I especially loved the little hit of blush in the florals, and the navy suits were a favorite as always. Olivia also did mismatching bridesmaids dress which I adore, and felt like the personality of each girl shined through their dress choice.
Olivia and Nick seriously created a wedding out of the Knot and didn't miss a single detail, including choosing an amazing bridal party. Their bridal party was filled with a mix of family and friends, who kept the excitement high all day, and the fun rolling. Filled with laughter, and lots of smiles, this bridal party was definitely excited for their friends to be tying the knot after 6 years of dating. They also were so into photos, which obviously I loved, and brought so many neat ideas to the table. The girls were also amazing with helping me make sure every inch of Olivia's gorgeous train was perfect in every photo.
At the center of this gorgeous day was a gorgeous couple, who seriously I adore. These two share a love like something out of a romance novel, and are just so perfect for each other. Nick makes Olivia smile ear to ear and she definitely returns the favor. They are both so happy when they are together, and excitement to finally be together on their wedding day was definitely in the air as they prepared for the ceremony. These two are crazy in love, and it seriously juts makes your heart happy to watch these two together. Rose, the maid of honor, said during her speech that these two just showcase exactly what a good Christian marriage looks like, and should be, and I could not agree more. These two not only showcase an amazing love for each other but also an amazing love for Jesus by loving so wholeheartedly on those around them. If you have the chance to have these two in your life you are seriously lucky because they are incredible people.
