This is actually something I include in my Wedding Experience magazine as I often receive a lot of questions about it. However I realize that some people who read my blog aren't brides and grooms of mine, and that some of my brides and grooms misplace their magazine and can't remember what was on that page. Therefore I decided to blog wedding gift ideas for brides, as well as grooms which will be hitting the blog next week!
Now this list was compiled off of gifts I have seen given the most at weddings, however if you want to go outside of the list, I would highly encourage it. However these are just gifts I have seen given time and time again and brides are always super happy to receive them!
1. A Bit Of Sparkle
Honestly jewelry is one of the most popular weddings gifts because what girl doesn't love a little bling? I have seen everything given from a necklace, to earrings, to rings, to a watch. While it is the most popular it also is rather sentimental because every time she wears that item of jewelry she will think about your wedding day. Bonus points if you can make her sparkle her something blue.
2. A Mrs Ring Box
A Mrs Ring Box is a velvet ring box that can be engraved with her new monogram. Traditional and timeless, something she will really hold on to forever. Plus it is a great bonus for detail photos. It is also great gift because it is something she can use every day, and a good place for her to put her rings that is pretty, instead of throwing them on some dish on the counter.
3. Anything That Says Wifey or Mrs
There are so many options with this one. You could get her a shirt because what girl doesn't love to show off the fact that she is a now a wife and a mrs, especially on her honeymoon! You could get her a coffee mug, perfect for those early morning ring selfies. There are literally so many options for this one. Bonus if it says Mrs with her new last name.
4. Hand Written Letters
The quickest way to bring tears to your bride's eyes. Tell her why you wanted to marry her or simply how much you love her. This is a note she will hold on to forever. This is another popular idea, but seriously it is the sweetest and the photographs I have taken of brides as they read their letters are always some of my favorites.
5. Something She Can Take on the Honeymoon
In the chaos of wedding planning, chances are she forgot something, or didn't think about how beneficial a super cute beach bag would be. She will appreciate how thoughtful you were to pick her favorite snacks, and magazines for the long plane ride ahead.
Hopefully this list will help guide you as you pick a gift for your beautiful bride!
