Meraz Wedding | Broadway Christian Church and Cazadores Event Center | Fort Wayne, Indiana
September 24, 2019
This year has been a year filled with seriously gorgeous weddings and I find myself wondering if 2020 will even be able to touch this year. Seriously it is just one gorgeous wedding right after another, which makes me even more excited going into the next wedding. The Meraz wedding was no different in that it was a seriously gorgeous day, and one I was so thankful to have been apart of and documented.
Lexi and Mario carefully chose the details of their day and the time and effort they put into everything really showed. From their aisle decorations, to every inch of the venue space decorated and well thought out, to the gorgeous homemade bouquets, to the stunning jewelry Lexi wore. Everything was so well executed and thoughtful without a inch or detail missing. Combine that with some yummy food, and some seriously good Mexican deserts and I could not have asked for a better September wedding, especially since the weather was absolutely perfect. It was the kind of September wedding that made me wish I had 900 more September weddings each year.
Along with the perfect wedding day, there was an amazing bridal party who seriously was hilarious. Most of portrait time was spent laughing as the guys and girls teased each other, made hilarious brutally honest comments, and said some off the wall hilarious things. They were seriously such a fun group, and really were the life of the party. They were just so excited about Mario and Lexi getting married and they could not contain it. They were all energy and all hype men. There could not have been more support for Mario and Lexi from their bridal party which also continued with their sweet family.
Obviously the reason we are all here was because of Mario and Lexi, the sweet couple in the middle of it all. Upon arriving Lexi gave me a big hug and said how thankful she was that I was there and in that moment I knew I just adored these two. I rarely do not meet my couples before their wedding day, but it seems like on the rare occasions that I do not meet my couples before, they are always so thankful when I arrive which I just love. By the end of the day I felt like I was apart of their friend group. It was so sweet. Lexi and Mario are one of those couples that everyone jokes is going to get married, they have known each other since Elementary school, but they didn't initially believe it and yet here we are. Sometimes the person you are suppose to spend your life with is right in front of you. As these two shared their vows which brought them and most of the people in attendance to tears, it was clear that these two were a match made in elementary school, and that their person was literally right in front of them their entire lives.
